- You know how a compiled AMOS program has a task name _Switcher AMOS_
- (or something similar) ?
-
- Well, is there any harm in changing it (via a Hex Editor) ?
-
- I thought not, and did so and it seemed to work fine. This is Backbone
- I'm talking about and I'm sure you know by now it DOESN'T work fine on
- everyone else's machines. I just looked at a snoop dos log for a
- version where I changed _Switcher AMOS_ to something else and the
- program looks for the task name at various points?
-
- Is there a reason why this should be?
- Could it perhaps be the cause of some crashes?
-
- Thanks,
- -Murray
